Fiction, based on mythology. Good for Tibetan mythology and the tradition of oral storytelling. Two stories, one set now of a storyteller chosen by the gods, and one of the past that tells of Gesar, both running concurrently. Be sure to read the title of each chapter so you know if it is in Gesar's time or now with the storyteller (at one point they merge, very fun). Probably a tough read if you do not like mythology or if you are not terribly familiar with eastern religions or cultures.
