Well it is Halloween week and I cannot even begin to describe how excited my son is to go trick-or-treating and overdose on sugary things. This year he has chosen to be a pirate. In previous years he has been a lion, a Power Ranger, a ninja, and a Transformer (Bumblebee).
I of course will be wearing my usual costume, Mom who helps carry the candy and watches, and although I am sorry to say to poor Sassy ( the dog) she will apparently be a fairy princess, complete with wings and a tutu we obtained at the Dollar Tree.
So what about you good people out there? What are your little ones dressing up as, or what will you be for parties or handing out candy?
Have a safe and Happy Halloween everybody!!
And so it goes...

Well... my little one, who's 4, is going to be Snow White. My 7-year-old daughter is going to be a witch. My 10-year-old son wants to be The Joker and my 12-year-old son, who isn't going trick-or-treating but wants to dress up, is going to be a werewolf. I'm dressing up as a witch also! :-)
And, hey! My fiance saw that picture of a drink just about your "about me" section. What IS that? It looks really good! lol
Your son will be a handsome pirate in that costume. No kids here and my cat (she's a black cat by the way)refuses to participate, she will probably be hiding under the bed.
Me, I will be answering the door as the lady with sweet treats and a camera in hand to capture the action.
Have a great Halloween.
Thank you for visiting my blog today! :) I actually am working on some new Halloween invites right now (featuring the owl!). Even though it is a little late to debut them this year, I'll have them all ready for '10!
:)
happy halloween. blake will be a transformer and Nathan an Knight
Hi T.!!! I'm so sorry I didn't get back to you earlier. I saw your comments on my blogs at the library and thought that's nice! Someone out there's noticed I haven't been around in a while. I would have replied but of course I kept forgetting to take my password with me.
Your post makes me really miss my nieces and nephews. I love seeing the holidays through the eyes of a child.
Not sure what my costume will be yet. I'll probably put my fairy wings to good use again. Along with some glitter makeup.
Thanks for stopping by AND for the link to the caramel macchiato recipe!!! :-)
Thanks T, I received the message, I haven't worked out a system to comment at the end of each post as my server doesn't support frontpage extensions and the forms won't work, I'll have to switch to Dreamweaver I think. I'm off to a Halloween party myself for the first time ever tomorrow night,I'm flying in on my broomstick - I'll post on how I go. We have only started celebrating H'ween here, we used to have Guy Fawkes until they banned crackers. The 12 Apostles are rock formations along the great ocean road, they stand in the water and are phenomenal, one crumbled into the sea last year, but you can still see it. It's a lovely wild coastline in Victoria, I'll keep in touch now I'm back to posting, have a great weekend, Cheers Ursula
Happy Halloween. We get tons of trick or treaters here. I love it! My daughter is grown up but she still dresses up. I dress up Sasha, even though she doesn't approve lol.
